I was first introduced to SPFX at a demonstration seminar at the Los Angeles Haunt Expo. I was blown away by the quality of movement, craftsmanship, and attention to detail in the masks, shown by Rusty and Ron. I couldn’t have been more impressed. Immediately we wanted three masks to be made for our film, “Dead and Floating in Three Rivers.” Even though we only had three weeks till principle photography began, SPFX was able to accommodate our needs. My fondest memory on the shoot was when the lead Zombie, Annette Ashlie, put on the mask and costume for the first time. She looked in the mirror and jumped three steps back, shaking because she had scared herself so badly. Despite their heavy workload of orders, Rusty and Ron took personal initiative to perform custom modifications to their existing design to suit the needs of our production. They were a pleasure to work with and I hope to do more business with them in the near future.

I got the chance to work with these incredible lifelike masks for my latest Film 'Dust to Dust". I cannot believe how lifelike these Masks are,They move with the Actor like a second skin. These masks are form fitting snuggly fitting your Actor. I hated the look of masks in general as they moved around on the Actors heads and looked too stiff. The SPFX Masks look incredible as your Actor can move his mouth and eyes. The best thing about these Masks are they can be put on and taken off in seconds. That is so important to the Film maker as I saved so much time compared to old school f/x. These masks will last for years with proper care I cannot tell you how much time and effort these Masks saved us. "I am a fan for life".

I just worked with Spfxmasks on my new horror/action film "Revamped". Their mask was incredibly lifelike and saved my actors many grueling and uncomfortable hours in the makeup chair. The end result was fantastic! With our shooting schedule, I simply didn’t have time to create that kind of extensive make-up. For more than 21 years in the television and film industry I have been up close and personal with many different special effects artists. This huge box arrived at work today and I knew just what was inside! Couldn't wait to get home and transform into an old geezer! Rusty did an astonishing job on this sculpt and even more amazing is the finishing work. It looks just like human skin w/ speckling, moles, subtle veins, and translucent flesh tones. The fit is perfect on me and I have a 22.5" head... of course it will fit even the largest heads since it conforms with ease. I can even put my glasses on this guy and it really sets him off! Here are a few quick pics that I snapped tonight. Don't worry more will come. If you've been thinking about picking one of these up, don't hesitate! They are worth every penny! “Com'eer Sonny.”

I discovered an added bonus last night with the SPFX Mask! I was able to wear the mask all night and I could breathe with no problem! The mask fits so well that your breathing isn't affected at all! I've worn rubber masks in the past and could barely stand it. With the SPFX Mask, I was able to entertain people in line to our attraction and actually talk easily to them without the Darth Vader effect. Another added bonus was that whenever one of our patrons would ask, "Can I touch it?", I was able to move in close and let them poke at the mask with no concern for having them detach a prosthetic or latex. I've mentioned this in the past, but another bonus of these masks is that we had a reporter show up unannounced from a local newspaper. I was able to "get into makeup" in seconds! I already had my contact lenses in and my outfit was on. I threw on the mask and went out to greet her. Her first comment... Oh my God! I have to take a picture of this! Definitely a product worth its weight in gold

The mask is awesome! I've been wearing the thing for at least 10 hours now. One guy gave me a look of disgust when I started to fake cough for a minute. That was great I almost died laughing. The truth is I don't have a video camera so I won't be entering the contest but I know I'd have a good shot of winning something. Thanks Again and I look forward to your next masks. All the best...
